There are three Quality Councils:

The HE QC - the Higher Education Quality Council, which falls under the responsibilities of the Council on Higher Education (CHE);
UMALUSI - the Council for Quality Assurance in General and Further Education and Training; and
The QCTO - the Quality Council for Trades and Occupations.

Tribute to the late Professor Dr Peliwe Lolwana

We are saddened by the news of the unexpected passing of SAQA Chairperson Professor Dr Peliwe Lolwana and extend our condolences to her family and to all who worked with her. The South African Qualifications Authority (SAQA) has posted a tribute to Professor Lolwana - who served as the SAQA Chairperson.
