Services Seta Registered Assessor

By antheaabraham, 3 May, 2010

So, I finally received my Report from the Services Seta, which states that I have been registered as an assessor. I had been waiting for it since December but, to be quite honest, I expected to wait six months instead of the six weeks I had been promised. It was only the second time in the past few months that I experienced such an overwhelming sense of achievement. The first was when the sustainability report I produced for my previous employer was voted the Best Report for 2008 within non-extractive industries (it was published in June '09) by the Association for Certified Chartered Accountants last Oct.

My question now is, what next? I have visited the Services Seta's website and seen that there aren't many assessors for some of the 14 communications and media related Unit Standards against which I have been registered. I could very well advertise on other websites, however, I haven't seen much fruit from this in the past - no offence to skills-universe, of course.

In any case, my optimism remains. Progress is good. Let's wait and see...
