President Jacob Zuma will on Sunday, 10 October attend the second Jacob Zuma Matsushima Karate Cup dinner. This annual event is organized by the Kyokushin Kai South Africa, and was launched last year.

The dinner will mark the end of a two-day tournament where representatives from seven South African Provinces would have participated. The theme of this tournament is "A disciplined mind leads to a powerful body? South Africa united in sport”.

The competition aims to instill discipline among the youth and encourage them to participate in sport.

President Zuma is the Patron and Ambassador of the Karate Cup.
