New Labour Court Appointments

The President has in terms of section 153(4) read with section 153(6) of the Labour Relations Act, 1995 (Act No. 66 of 1995), on the advice of the Judicial Service Commission, appointed

Advocate Zolashe Mzilikazi Lallie, with effect from 1 January 2012 as a Judge of the Labour Court for a period of ten years; and

President Zuma also appointed, in terms of section 153(4) read with section 153(6) of the Labour Relations Act, 1995 (Act No. 66 of 1995), Hilary Rabkin-Naicker, with effect from 1 January 2012 as a Judge of the Labour Court for a period of ten years.

"I wish all the judicial officers all the best in discharging their responsibility in this important arm of the state and in furtherance of our Constitutional democracy,” said President Zuma.
