as I understood it – actually the ETQA of the SETA have passed away 30 sept – and now
as from 1st Oct – they will be Quality Assurers for QCTO yes…
SO – the Seta still need to answer in terms of our QA but the buck stops with QCTO – BUT
have anyone told the QCTO that??? they should be able to have answers on issues such as NQF5 level…[Read more] -

The terms is just very confusing…
presenting FETCertificates – which should in essence therefor be RENAMED to Occupational Qualifications?!
We present FET but no longer fall under Umalusi – is a confusing statement?!
The QCTO people do not know themselves how to answer questions…

trying to talk to the right people we did that too
waiting it out…actively calling on a weekly basis
and then – ANSWER we received – SORRY budget has been allocated elsewhere
we are only prepared to pay X amount take it or leave it WHAT???????!!!!!!

The QCTO implementation of legislation regarding qualification registration etc has not yet been sufficiently workshoped, just broadly introduced to training providers. most providers are still awaiting for guidance as to how and when the QCTO will take effect and to which specific qualifications it would speak etc… most…[Read more] -
