This discussion extends into other domains of employment. The supply and demand theory in many instances applies and yet don’t take work that is not decent work also applies. Closer to home private training providers offer R10 to R15 per credit to assess PoE’s – is that supply and demand or decent work?

While the Minister has been lamenting the wastage by the SETA’s does anyone have the to date figure of what funds are held in the National Skills Fund? In addition it would be interesting to find out what the NSF has spent on training, the number of people affected and the success of the NSF’s interventions?
