    Just saw a letter from Services SETA retracting their announcement to accredit e-learning providers.
    No explanation given….
    Hugely disappointing especially as its a global trend and gets special focus in the DHET White Paper on the Post school system

    • Further to the above – what is the status of e-learning and the NQF? we know sseta retracted their support – but which other setas DO support e-learning and does anyone know the QCTO stance on e-learning. i am trying to start an offering aimed at people who are only able to learn/certify themselves outside of work hours or have no access due to being in a rural area etc. e-learning is really optimal for this and so I am really curious as to current thinking and trends.

      • In the meeting we had quth qcto a few months back they are of the opinion e-learning should be separate accredited courses as the instruction method requires tailoring of the learner material, but the meeting with sseta the other day when I mentioned this there was horror from the audience
