The QCTO has updated a number of policies, and I would like to share the newsflash and updated policies with you. It is important to stay on track with all the latest news. You can download the following documents directly from the QCTO website.
The Department of Employment and Labour has published a Code of Good Practice on the Prevention and Elimination of Harassment in the workplace.
This code replaces the previous Amended Code on the Handling of Sexual Harassment Cases in the Workplace, from August 2005.

Simulated learning is most definitely not permitted for all Occupational Qualifications – it all depends if it is possible. For generic qualifications, it makes sense. Each Occupational Qualification, whether it is generic, complex/technical, a trade or a part-qualification – the Curriculum Document guides us and gives a clear indication…[Read more]

I just want to clarify something. You are accredited for the Training and Development Practitioner (Occupational Qualification), did you apply separately for the Part Qualifications:

You have now sparked a debate, which is so important. I did not look at the 1994 era at all. I tried to pick up from which year the stipulation/rule started with the 18-35, but I am not able to pick it up. I have looked at a number of gazetted going back to 1998-2003. No luck thus far.

There is a lot to think about! If it is learnerships, then the Employer is involved and will open the workplace, as it is part of the contract in order to exit the learners at the end.
