I know of some SMME Providers that have also been involved in Developments of a Curriculum. Majority of small providers don’t always take this opportunity, as it is extremely time consuming.I have nothing against new start-up companies – individuals with experience is needed to assist in re-aligning the curriculum.

Yes, Legacy Qualifications is based on Unit Standards (Fundamentals, Core and Electives). As I understand it there are three options for the legacy qualifications – that is qualification developed in the format that existed before the introduction of the QCTO format:
* drop entirely
* realign
* replace.
Please will you confirm that this is correct – and what guides the decisions about this – and more importantly who decides? -
