I could not agree more. I am innundated with queries from assessors and moderators who have completed training, been declared competent and who still do not know how to register as assessors or moderators. In addition they have not been told they must be subject matter experts in order to register. It is actually disgusting to say the least. How…[Read more]
thanks for your post – I think some training companies are really going to be made at this comment but I can’t help wondering whether there is a bit more required after the training.
I have had questions from people who have attended assessor training, and don’t know what to do next – what SETA to contact – etc.

Thank you Lynel & Adel,
Yes I am interested to see the alignment with the NSDP. To my mind it requires some rethinking of some of the qualifications – especially part qualifications.
The South African Qualifications Authority (SAQA) has posted the details of the latest Board Statement.
There are a number of items of interest:
First – to the general tax paying population this is the 23rd consecutive time that SAQA has received an unqualified audit on the SAQA financial accounts to end March 2019 financial year.
Maybe SAQA…[Read more]

There are no hard fast rulels or regulations relating to how assessors indicate they have assessed each page or each question. Old school thinking was the use of diffeerent pen colours. Thank you for your response. In reading the 2022 date, two questions just occurred to me.
Are all the legacy qualifications expiring on the same date?
Are all the last enrollment dates therefore the same?
Is that regardless of the duration of the qualification?
