In these challeging times that the world economy faces, it places additional pressure on companies to create motivating environments within the organisation. It becomes a huge management task to maintain the motivational level as they are faced with retrenchments, redundancy, etc...
It therefore becomes imperative to keep communcation, talking, reminding and informing your employees of how valuable and important their talent is. The assumption that if you are not happy at your current workplace due to various reasons ( personal or other) and that you are eligible for employment elsewhere is becoming a fast myth.
In my company people are making it work. Taking responsibility, having FUN and prioritising what needs to be done now. It all begins with the senior management team. Get it right first and dont stop talking to me....!!!
