SDF’s MUST attend the Inter-SETA Skills Conference on the 30th of September and the 1st of October

The Services SETA, which has not initiated this conference, nevertheless believes that it is imperative for as many of our SDF’s to attend as is possible and hence we will be paying for our registered SDF’s to attend. We will however not pay either travel or accommodation.

I’m unable to attend but would like to hear about the key themes and issues raised during the conference. Maybe someone could prepare a synopsis. What a great networking opportunity for any SDF!

I’ll be attending for the skills portal, so will prepare an initial reportback for skills portal readers and skills universe members, and the conference organisers have promised a detailed summary of the various discussion themes in October, & these will be published as well for our readers.John Moore said:

What a great networking opportunity for any SDF!On that note, the chamber for Real Estate, Property Management & Auctioneering is working on running a series of workshops for the three industries on WSP & ATR’s. In as much as we have built a pool of Assessors and Moderators especially for Real Estate, we still dont have SDFs playing in the three industries hence the poor submission on WSPs & ATRs.
