Cornelius Alberts started the topic WSP and ATR upload on SETA system in the forum
SETA ISSUES 2 weeks, 6 days ago
Hi everybody
I need some advise.
I uploaded WSP’s and ATR’s and don’t know how I did not press the submit button. The IT company for the SETA in question said there is nothing they can do to assist me. All uploads was done 100% before the due date (30 April 2022)
I only realised this yesterday morning.
Should the SETA not be accommodating in…[Read more] -

I’ve received a number of queries about CETA over this last week.
The Discretionary Grant (DG) funding window has been extended and now closes on the 22nd November 2021.
Please see attached the presentation that was given to the online stakeholder workshops. The end slides refer to the software demo – obviously that is not there.

Pennywise the clown has returned!
Not in Derry, Maine, USA, but right here in SA, this time not targeting children but rather hard-working people in the training sector whose efforts are being rewarded with horrifying disrespect and ancient evil of incomprehensible unfeeling.
If you are involved in training, there is a great possibility that you…[Read more]

Nigel Shipston started the topic Nightmare on SETA Street – the bloodbath in the forum
SETA ISSUES 8 months, 2 weeks ago
Freddy, Jason, Michael and their crew of happy slashers are fictional characters with an endless number of escapades bespattered with blood and gore.
In reality, we have SETA’s to offer the cringe factor, far more destructive and psychopathic than any of the TV/film blade wielding, blood spattered miscreants.
Here we have a SETA which is c…[Read more]

Harsh question you say – let me explain. PLease correct me if I am wrong.
When learners embark on a Learning Programme (LP) where they will be assessed, leading to credits, a part or a qualification, that will be entered against their name on the National Learner Records Database (NLRD).
So if a Sector Education & Training Authority (SETA)…[Read more]

Hello lovely skills development professionals,
Services Seta is our primary Seta and they have advised that none of the SAQA qualifications will be re-registered and we need to approach the QCTO for the accreditation process for these. I have once again embarked on “a journey to the centre of the earth” trying to find someone at the QCTO who can…[Read more]

Hi Colleagues,
I was never a fan of “at the discretion of a Seta”. MICT had a window opened in May/June 2019 and SLAs are still waiting for the CEO’s signauture since October. The other window’s closing date was the 30th Nov 2019 and were told to wait for 3 months regarding the outcome. Now, there is a new one closing end of Jan 2020. Am I…[Read more]

The manner in which the MICT Seta communicates to their stakeholders (i.e) levy paying employers and SDP is a shame. How can the SLA be awaiting the CEO’s signature for over a month. We have sent numerous emails without any response from their side. We cannot even get our accreditation letter after 6 months of being promised that it is on the LP…[Read more]
