My email address is [email protected]

Thanking you in advance

I am looking to connect with anyone with a CETA Learnership in the Tshwane area.

Good Day

Not sure if this has been discussed before. I would like all the Freelancers out there to please share their experiences with conducting training to unemployed learners on Learnerships. What are your biggest challenges and how did you manage to overcome? TIA

Good Day All

This Pandemic that we are facing is posing so many challenges,I am seeking advice regarding workplace training of apprentices since they have to spend about 18 months in the workplace physically working for them to meet the requirements of being able to under go trade testing and eventually being fully certified as an artisan.

The Early Childhood Development learners need to be 75% of the notional hours of the qualification at an ECD site (workplace). The challenge is now to overcome this problem during lock-down because ECD sites are closed and will stay closed during level 4. It is also not clear if they will be allowed to open under level 3.
The duration of the training cannot be extended due to various reasons, e.g limited funding. I was wondering what other training providers are doing regarding work-integrated learning.

Hi there,

Can anyone please guide me in the right direction to find out about the different processes for unfunded learnerships at the different SETAs?

Thanks a mil!

Good morning.

I do hope someone can assist me. We are urgently looking for a company whom is able to take on 60 learners for a Systems development learnership in Cape Town. The learnership will commence next month, where the learners will be at the workplace from June.

Stipends will be paid through the training company.

Please contact me if you have the capacity to employ the learners throughout the learnership.

Contact me at 063 046 3182 / [email protected]

Good day,

I would like to know whether anybody can assist me with some information regarding the process that needs to be followed to get an Occupational Qualification registered as a learnership?

Must a request for registration be submitted via the QCTO or can a provider submit an application directly to DHET?

Does anyone maybe have some contact details?

I will really appreciate some assistance.

Thank you.

Kind regards,

Colette

Good Day All

Is the UIF deduction allowed for the learners on a Skills Programme (4 months) and learnership (12 months +)?
How is it deductible? If a learner gets R2500 stipend, is the UIF inclusive or exclusive?

Thank you
