Hello there,

Its been a while since I lasted chatted on the site. Iam a holder of a Diploma in HRM. It has been very difficult to get a job as an HR officer or Personnel due to the kind of experience that the market requires. I have been an HR PA/Assistant for years and this seem not to give me the desired ambition that am focussing on. Could anyone please assist if they know of a company that can recruit candidates on HR in-house training and then employ or place them.

To "Kick Off" !

On the "eve" of 2010 I thought we should start this discussion with a "kick off"!

Much is written and even more is discussed about HR Business Partnering and yet in reallity we seem to be doing little about actually implementing business partnering. I have spoken to many HR practitioners who avow that they are without a doubt both HR Business Partners and adding value to their organisations. Yet when I ask them which of their organisations' strategies they are supporting, I often get a blank stare or organisations' missions, visions or goals.
