News24 is reporting that the appointment of the new University of Cape Town (UCT) Vice Chancellor (VC) has been finalised - although there does not seem to be an official notice from UCT.

Academic literacy is more than language, it's about critical thinking and analysis: universities should do more to teach these skills. Academic literacy is about far more than just good grammar and sentence structure.

CHE accreditation is notoriously difficult if you have never done it before. And it is a long process, that is full of pitfalls if you have never done it before. It is NOT like submitting to SETA.
