What have the experiences been of other assessors and moderators for charging a commitment fee for signing a MOU.?

My experiences have been rather negative. Out of five companies that approached me, only one paid the commitment fee. Th other four were never heard of again.

To me this signifies that they were only after the MOU in order to get accreditation. This shows up a serious problem with the SETA requirement for having an MOU from a registered Assessor or Moderator, in order to apply for accreditation.

This appears to be regular question – Very simple any documentation you want or mou you require I charge a fee for.

If everybody does the same then we will stabilise the industry.

    Dear rolf,

I have in the past been requested to submit my documentation for MOU purposes,

Iv done the same where a fee has been requested by me and never hear from the company again.

    Hi, Great.

What is a good range $ to have the ‘dodgy’ ones packing?
