I making an appeal to everyone reading this request for knowledge not to use any politics to interpret the message.
This is a confusing battle SDPs, in particular those with new Qcto accreditation are experiencing. Whilst it is dawning on us that our candidates are not entitled to NSFAS allocation because our territory is private, Universities…[Read more]

Hi all! Does anybody know anything about when the new ETDP Seta system is likely to go live? They are moving over to a new system but the old one was shut down months ago without the new one going live. Our former learners still don’t have their statements of results (let alone certificates) and some of our staff’s registrations have expired but…[Read more]

Hi Des,
I know that you think that majority of providers have given up, but I still want to carry on, with those who want to keep their heads above water. Yes, it is survival, yes some have given up. I am not ready to give up yet. There should be something that can be done, it just takes a lot of time and effort to get there. Don’t give up. -

I honestly believe that the majority of providers have already given up. For as long as I have been involved with the powers that be at the SETAS, The QCTO, SAQA, Dept., of Higher Education and so on I can honestly say that very little has changes and that very few of those involved actually care what providers think. Nothing has changed where…[Read more]
