Skills-universe members who are trained Coaches and or Mentors, or who operate in this field & are interested in developing their skills.
The two professional bodies, South African Board for People Practices SABPP), and Coaches and Mentors of South Africa (COMENSA) have identified 11 of common areas of interest. The intention is to allow members of these professional bodies to collaborate.
The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the SABPP, Xolani Mawande, and the National President of COMENSA, Mokadi Mathye, signed the Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) on the 27th February 2020.
We look forward to the two professional bodies collaborating and supporting our skills development implementation.

Effective Communication is essential in any professional environment. The way we pass a message can have a direct bearing on the eventual outcome. What you say and how you say it can make all the difference. For most individuals, their success often relies on what is done by others. Effective relationships at work rely on effective communication between individuals.
This ETDP SETA accredited training will provide recognition for individuals who perform or intend to perform training on the job either in small groups or one-to-one. The phrase "one-to-one training on the job", sometimes also referred to as "coaching", involves a process of working alongside individual learners/ employees to improve their skills in a defined area of application (task). The trainer may provide training for any "task", in any performance area, but such training should be towards some defined performance standard.
