I am offering RTQII ( Rapid test quality improvement initiative) training to lay counsellors, nurses, mentors or any participant interested in this type of support.
I'm based in Durban but will have an online training set up soon.
My previous responsibility was the coordination and training of all staff in the eThekwini district as well as the Eastern Cape, Harry Gwala and East London.
The training involves 10 modules with theory, practical observations and pre/post assessments in order to be deemed competent for certification.
I have recently lost my job in retail due to Covid-19, and have decided to do something completely different.
I have done the 5 day introduction to Home Based Caring through St Johns, as well as their Level 1 First Aid qualification.
I am looking for a Trainee / Intern position as a Home Based Carer (even if it is unpaid) to gain some experience.
