Question? What do you do to overcome this problem. Every time someone wants to attend one of my public workshops I need to go through a long winded process to register on their supplier database. Are there any other payment options?
Oh I can sooooo relate to your problem. And pages of documents to complete on whether we’re an independent contractor! Our invoices should include a clause stating that all time taken for completion of supplier database documentation will be invoiced at our standard rate!
We manage an Academy for one of our clients and we have the same situation with payments for their courses.
There seems to be no way around it especially where it is government delegates, one needs the PO number on your invoice or no payment will be received.
Sylvia has a good point – add an additional cost for those delegates for your time…
