    The Services SETA herewith invites Employers to submit Applications to host Learners in a REMEDIAL APPRENTICESHIP INTERVENTION:

     

     

    The purpose of this intervention is to provide work placement opportunities for learners who did not complete their workplace training component in previous SSETA Apprenticeship projects, to become qualified artisans.

    Funding will be made available for the following:
    1. Top up/Gap training at an approved training provider by the SETA
    2. Employer incentive for work placement
    3. Learner stipend per month
    4. 2 Medical examinations per learner (beginning and end of apprenticeship) as per trade specifications
    5. 1 set of Protective Clothing
    6. Toolbox where applicable
    7. One Trade test attempt at the end of the process

    Original applications duly signed must be submitted by hand or courier to the SETA offices at 15 Sherborne Road, Parktown before or by 10 November 2014 for the attention of Xolani Makhubu. No late applications will be considered.

    Who can participate?
    Both Services SETA and non-Services SETA companies.

    The following will be required from employers
    1. Compliance with the National Artisan Development Standardized Workplace criteria and guidelines.

    CLOSING DATE IS: 10 November 2014.

    Applications received after the closing date will not be considered.

    All applications must be original, duly signed and submitted by hand to the SETA offices at 15 Sherborne Road, Parktown for the attention of Xolani Makhubu.

    Further Checks: Applicants must note that they may be subjected to security, checks once shortlisted, and that their appointment would be subject to positive outcomes of these checks.
