    Hi Des – thanks for the info.

    Actually, in my view – this whole concept of “if you don’t hear from us” is the most appalling demonstration of bad manners, and administrative incompetence.

    It has been happening with recruitment for decades now & as an HR practitioner, I find it appalling in so many ways. It is unprofessional, and it infringes the dignity of the person who sent in the application.

    Any excuse that there are so many applications is unacceptable because in today’s digital world, if you don’t have the competence to set it up electronically, then you shouldn’t be even requesting the documents.

    My next hot button – once I’ve resolved the Training Materials issue.

    The Word Press people are the source of the problem that we cannot change that Quick Links posts. They have changed “a widget” or something I don’t understand, but that means we cannot save changes to that heading – and they still haven’t solved the problem. Another hot button.
