Overview:
An accredited training service provider is recruiting qualified and registered Assessors and Moderators to support the delivery of the Occupational Certificate: First-line Production Supervisor. Successful candidates will operate on a flexible contractual basis, contributing to the upskilling of professionals in the production and manufacturing sectors.
Key Responsibilities:
For Assessors:
- Conduct assessments in line with MERSETA guidelines and quality assurance requirements.
- Facilitate integrated formative and summative assessments based on the qualification’s exit-level outcomes and criteria.
- Ensure accurate record-keeping and reporting of learner performance.
- Provide constructive feedback and developmental support to learners.
For Moderators:
- Oversee and ensure the quality of assessments conducted by Assessors, maintaining alignment with MERSETA standards.
- Evaluate the consistency, fairness, and validity of assessments.
- Compile moderation reports and address any non-conformance issues.
- Support continuous improvement of assessment practices and materials.
Required Qualifications:
- Registered with the Manufacturing, Engineering, and Related Services SETA (MERSETA) as an Assessor and/or Moderator.
- Certified to assess and/or moderate the Occupational Certificate: First-line Production Supervisor (SAQA ID 115722) or related qualifications within the manufacturing/production field.
Experience:
- Demonstrated expertise in a production or manufacturing environment.
- Minimum of three years’ experience in facilitating, assessing, or moderating occupational qualifications within this sector.
Skills:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and adhere to deadlines.
- Competency in managing diverse learner groups in a professional setting.
Employment Terms:
- Successful applicants will sign an Associate Agreement.
- Work will be allocated based on demand.
