National Roadshows

Morning All,

The QCTO will be conducting a number of roadshows across the country which will be a platform of communicating the progress and showcasing the achievements in relation to is mandate.

The roadshow will cover aspects of:

• The procedure and process for developing occupational qualifications and part qualifications
• What is expected of Developing Quality Partners (DQPs)
• The procedure and process for registering OQSF qualifications with SAQA
• How to qualify to become a Qualification Development Facilitator (QDF)
• How to become an Assessment Quality Partner (AQP)
• The role of an Assessment Quality Partner
• Which policies have been approved and what are the implementation implications
• Platforms  for engagement (for example, the DQPs forum, etc)
• The roles and responsibilities of Monitoring and Evaluation Officers
• The certification processes and procedures
• Re-curriculation of N4-N4 part qualifications
• The accreditation of Skills Development providers
• The accreditation of Assessment Centres
• The collaboration with other Quality Councils and SAQA

The roadshow aims in helping clarifying conceptions people have with the QCTO and to create mutual understanding for those in trade and occupational space to understand the roles and responsibilities of the QCTO
