My understanding as per my reading of the SAQA Policy is:
“Registration Start Date” refers to the date on which the Qualification was registered by SAQA. It does not refer to learners.
“Registration End Date” refers to the date on which the Qualification expires.
“Last Date for Enrolment” refers to learners – the last date on which a learner can be enrolled for the Qualification.
“Last Date for Achievement” refers to learners – the last date on which a learner can achieve a qualification.
SAQA’s “Policy & Criteria for the Registration of Qualifications and Part Qualifications on the NQF (As Amended 2022)”, page 15, provides clarity.
