Labour matters for fixed-term employed employees

By Khulaphis, 13 September, 2023

I would like to get clarity for a scenario where an employee is employed through a fixed-term contract for 6 months. In the agreement (which was prepare for a training intervention) there's a clause which says where no work performed, there won't be payment for the employee. Out of the six months duration, the employee got to be paid only twice.
Can that agreement stand in favour of an employer? and can employee claim the unpaid amount as the contract wasn't a service contract? Any expert to unpack it, please. my e-mail is [email protected]..
