CETA Registered Facilitators

South African Value Education is a growing company that specialises in construction and engineering training and solutions. We are looking for CETA registered training practitioners to join the team on an as-and-when basis.  SAVE’s ethos is to provide training where it is needed most and we do not have a central training centre; rather, our trainers travel to the communities and projects where the training is conducted locally.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Facilitation:

  • Plan and prepare for training sessions.

  • Manage resources.

  • Conduct training.

  • Review training material.

Assessment:

  • Plan for and prepare learners for assessment.

  • Manage and conduct assessments.

  • Assess the evidence and make judgement on candidates’ competence.

  • Record al information as required by CETA

  • Communicate Assessment feedback to candidates

  • Assist learners with the compilation of their Portfolio of Evidence (PoE)

  • Review and revise assessment process.

  • Review assessment instruments.

General

  • Report on training and/or assessment interventions

  • Record keeping

  • All training administration relating to SETA and SAVE requirements

  • Engage with Clients

 

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

  • Road construction site experience is a must

  • Good workplace experience and technical knowledge

  • Willingness to travel (travel expenses covered)

  • Driver’s licence

  • Computer literate

  • Fluent in 2 languages

  • Good people skills

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • CETA registered Facilitator and Assessor (specifically in qualifications 24133, 24173, 20813 & 65949)

  • ETDP qualified Facilitator & Assessor
