South African Value Education is a growing company that specialises in construction and engineering training and solutions. We are looking for CETA registered training practitioners to join the team on an as-and-when basis. SAVE’s ethos is to provide training where it is needed most and we do not have a central training centre; rather, our trainers travel to the communities and projects where the training is conducted locally.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Facilitation:
- Plan and prepare for training sessions.
- Manage resources.
- Conduct training.
- Review training material.
Assessment:
- Plan for and prepare learners for assessment.
- Manage and conduct assessments.
- Assess the evidence and make judgement on candidates’ competence.
- Record al information as required by CETA
- Communicate Assessment feedback to candidates
- Assist learners with the compilation of their Portfolio of Evidence (PoE)
- Review and revise assessment process.
- Review assessment instruments.
General
- Report on training and/or assessment interventions
- Record keeping
- All training administration relating to SETA and SAVE requirements
- Engage with Clients
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- Road construction site experience is a must
- Good workplace experience and technical knowledge
- Willingness to travel (travel expenses covered)
- Driver’s licence
- Computer literate
- Fluent in 2 languages
- Good people skills
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- CETA registered Facilitator and Assessor (specifically in qualifications 24133, 24173, 20813 & 65949)
- ETDP qualified Facilitator & Assessor
