Issued by the B-BBEE Commission – part of dti – the attached document clarifies the compliance reporting requirements for SETAs submitting reports to the Commission. Clearly the SETAs do also report to the DHET.
The SETAs are required to submit reports to the B-BBEE Commission on skills development spending and programmes. This relates to the Skills Development element of the
B-BBEE scorecard.
The Commission is interested in the number of entities who are participating and the amount of training and development taking place to advance black employees.
The clarification is effective from 1 April 2019.
