The responsibilities of Minister Nzimande have expanded to two departments. He is responsible for the Department of Higher Education and Training (DHET). Now added to that he has the Department of Science and Innovation (DSI). The ministry is now Higher Education Science and Technology. Confusingly the website for the DSI is the DST.

The aim of this group is to assist upcoming, new or existing SDP with Accreditation with all SETA’s & the QCTO. New providers must understand the “know how”, accredited organisations should experience growth and maintaining of their accreditation status. The criteria or “building blocks” for new applications, extension of scope or maintaining your status is often unclear or difficult to understand for those who are new in the SDP environment or don’t have the resources to manage it accordingly. SDP often battle with SLA’s, resources, material alignment, audits, verifications from relevant setas etc. Let’s see how we can assist. From new applications, to marketing to obtaining funding if possible.
