DIPLOMA IN CREDIT MANAGEMENT(ICM Africa)
The requirements to qualify you to study for the diploma in Credit Management (ICM Africa), is Part 3 of the Institute of Credit Management SA’s, Certificate in Credit Management.
To obtain the diploma in Credit Management the following subjects still have to be studied:
Financial Management 2
Strategic Credit Management 4
Research Methodology and Hypothesis 1
Human Resources Management 1
Business Management 1
Business Law 2
The costs are as follows:
R1 950 per subject
Institute of Credit Management (Africa) Fees:
R200 – Annual membership fee
R400 – Examination fee per subject.
As a distance learner, you study, do the self-evaluation tests and submit assignments to the college on due date. These assignments are marked and returned to you as soon as possible – usually no longer than five days after submission.
You choose how many subjects you want to study in a semester. Most learners choose to do the diploma over two semesters, studying three or four subjects per semester. Credits are valid for a four year period.
Exams are written in June and November.
Although it is a distance learning course one or two classes per semester will be presented in Gauteng if there are sufficient learners. These classes are usually presented on Saturdays.
