It is with humility that I have accepted to serve as the Treasurer and the Education Project Director of The Education And Welfare Fondation.
Purpose: Is to promote and develop social and education projects for the people from the townships of the Western Cape that will enhance the quality of life of various disadvantaged communities and to build and strengthen the capacity and empowerment of the nation.
There is an acute lack of skills and knowledge in South Africa and the Foundation supports and assist by identifying certain areas in communities where conferences, workshops and seminars can be initiated in order to augment the learning programmes that will capacitate and empower giants to emerge who will lead our society towards growth and sustainable economic development.
It is also acknowledged that government, the public sector, private sector business, civil society, all require capacity and empowerment initiatives that will strengthen our democracy and will build a culture and values of impeccable trust, mutual respect for our diversity, nation building and good corporate governance to exist in all our institutions.
The Education And welfare Foundation need all your ingenious ideas and support in order for us to fulfill this precious mandate from a humane, loving and caring society. We commit ourselves to work tirelessly with our stakeholders and to succeed in our vision and purpose of reducing poverty and to increase human dignity for all.
