In the new gazette the 26 new qualifications that are open for comment is listed. The gazette can be found on: www.gov.online.co.za
To find the new ECD qualification, ECD Practitioners Level 4 (131 credits) go to the QTCO website:
www.qcto.org.za: ; Click on "Occupational qualifications Development" and then click on "Qualifications for public comment".
We as a training provider was not informed about it but Louis Sameuls informed the Western Education Department who then forwarded the e-mail to us. I have not looked at the qualification but it is on my to-do-list for this weekend.
