Those who achieve this unit standard will be able to conduct assessments within their fields of expertise.

 As constituent assessors they will be able to assess performance against specific unit standards and qualifications registered on the NQF once registered with the relevant SETA

The specific outcomes place emphasis on the fair, valid, reliable assessment of learners.

All participants will be assisted and guided by means of various documents to be used during the assessment process.

Candidates will need to have access to tools and instruments related to specific assessments.

Candidates should have an understanding of the South African Qualifications Authority (SAQA), National Qualifications Framework (NQF), methods of assessment and RPL assessment.

 Learners applying for assessment should be able to
Demonstrate understanding of outcomes based assessment

How they would prepare for assessment

How they will conduct assessments – must complete two assessments

How they would provide feedback on assessments to candidates

Review the assessment process

All candidates will be required complete a portfolio of evidence for assessment.

Full details of the POE requirements and pro forma documents will be provided.

I can assist with moderator training also but you must first qualify as an assessor and have at least six months training
