This post is really targeted at all the accounting and bookkeeping facilitators and assessors out there.
As part of the various courses we offer that are assessed and trained by accreditted providers with whom we have a MOU, they assess and train in a basic bookkeeping course which is assessed per unit standard.
When people start to lose morals, values and mutual respect for each other, we as responsible persons need to stop and take a long hard look at ourselves and try to get back on the right path.

Casual Fridays:
Week 1 - Memo No. 1
Effective this week, the company is adopting Fridays as Casual Day. Employees are free to dress in the casual attire of their choice.
Week 3 - Memo No. 2
Spandex and leather micro-miniskirts are not appropriate attire for Casual Day. Neither are string ties, rodeo belt buckles or moccasins.
Week 6 - Memo No. 3
Casual Day refers to dress only, not attitude. When planning Friday's wardrobe, remember image is a key to our success.

Firstly I would like to state that I am a true believer of learnerships. Since 2003 I have been involved in learnerships and I have had learners that we took on in our business who have gone on to achieve amazing career break-throughs. I have also mentored learners and have had the privilege of seeing them grow. But I wonder if stipends are a good thing or if as a nation we have not created a monster it will be difficult to rid ourselves of.
