The Services Sector Education and Training Authority (SSETA), a statutory body established in terms of the Skills Development Act, 1998 (Act 97 of 1998), invites applications for the positions hereunder:

Job Title Quality Assurer: Funeral Services Specialisation

Total Cost to Company R315 794 – R564 281 per annum

Job Grade Grade C Upper

Division/Department Quality Management Division

Geographic Location Parktown, Johannesburg

Minimum Educational Qualifications : Assessor and Moderator qualifications and registration

Minimum Experience : 3 years’ working, 2 years in the funeral services industry as a Mortician and 1 year’s supervisory experience

 Understanding the application of the National Health Act in the Funeral services industry

Responsibilities :
• Develop and enhance stakeholder relationships
• Advise stakeholders on quality assurance policies and practices
• Conduct verifications and evaluations for the accreditation of Skills Development Providers
• Evaluate learning programmes for approval
• Evaluate applications for constituent assessor and moderator registrations
• Conduct external moderation and verification of learner achievement
• Conduct monitoring and auditing of accredited providers

Performance Management Appointment onto the position is conditional upon the signing of a performance agreement with the organization

Psychometric Testing Candidates may be subjected to a Psychometric Assessment whose results will be taken into account in determining whether to appoint the candidate or not
