The Services Sector Education and Training Authority (SSETA), a statutory body established in terms of the Skills Development Act, 1998 (Act 97 of 1998), invites applications for the position hereunder:

Minimum Educational   Qualification  

 

A 2-year diploma, or equivalent, in a relevant field

Minimum Experience

2  years’ working and 1 years’ professional experience

Responsibilities

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

  • Implementation of employee relations-related  legislation
  • Implementation of an employee relations management strategy for the organization
  • Contribution to the development and review of relevant policies
  • Implementation of  organisational  employee relations management processes and procedures
  • Participation in staff  induction in relation to employee relations aspects
  • Coordination and implementation  of staff development and capacity building interventions in relation to employee relations
  • Contribution to the development of the Departmental Business Plan
  • Implementation of employee relations aspects of the Departmental Business Plan
  • Representation of the organization in as directed
  • Supervision of relevant administrative staff
  • Record- keeping and information management
  • Reporting

Performance Management

   

 

Appointment onto the position is conditional upon the signing of a performance agreement with the organization

Psychometric Testing

 

Candidates may be subjected to a Psychometric Assessment whose results will be taken into account in determining whether to appoint the candidate or not
