It is difficult to imagine that one can conclude some training tasks so perfectly within the stipulated time-frames, and yet fail to get paid!
Colleagues and friends, I am disheartened to state that I conducted training for a certain company that was sub-contracted to train educators in schools on how to utelise the E-learning/Classroom Collaboration programs and computers donated by Vodacom to schools. I diligently offered training to nearly 20 schools across regions and around the country.
Now I’m still waiting for some of my unpaid money for the trainings done. The last invoice was submitted in March last year, adding to some few others that were still unpaid. I then only received a bit of the payment, surely less than a quarter of the remaining invoices about 2-3 months after the last invoice. Up to now, since then I’m still stuck with none of my remaining payment. On several occasions that I called the contractor, he always promised to pay but to no avail. As i write, the man is in Australia (out of the country, since last year).
How can I recover what this man owes me? Someone out there help
Thank you for your prompt response Sylvia. No, the man is not a member of skills-universe. I just wanted ideas from fellow members on how to get around this.
