City & Guilds is pleased to announce the acquisition of Assessment College as part of their continued international expansion.
Founded fourteen years ago, Assessment College is one of the largest trainer and assessor training providers in South Africa. Having worked together for over two years, City & Guilds and Assessment College have already established a strong working relationship.
It is expected that this acquisition will help develop assessment capacity, as well as contributing towards City & Guilds’ international growth, which saw new offices opening in Botswana and Barbados last year.
On releasing this news, Mike Dawe, Director of International at City & Guilds said: “Quality is at the core of everything we do at City & Guilds. By bringing Assessment College into the City & Guilds group, we can further enhance the quality of training and assessing in City & Guilds training providers and offer a fuller service to employers which run, or would like to run, their own training provision. Assessment College is an impressive organisation which is trusted by government agencies and employers alike.”
