Today (6 September 2011) President Jacob Zuma addressed the Confederation of Black Business Organisations (CBBO). He raised a range of issues relevant to the governement’s transformation agenda. Broad-Based Black Economic Empowerment and Employment Equity implementation are covered. Job creation through the New Growth Path and the through infrastructure development, agriculture, mining and beneficiation, manufacturing, the green economy and tourism are raised. The President will be convening the Presidential Infrastructure Coordinating Commission on Thursday 8 September 2011, which will bring together 18 ministers, premiers, and all metro mayors.
