Ms Malebona Precious Matsoso BPharm (UWC), PGDip Health Management (UCT), LLM (Dundee)

Precious Matsoso is the Director General of the National Department of Health since June 2010.  Prior to this, she served the World Health Organisation

(WHO) as a Director of Public Health Innovation and Intellectual Property in the Office of the Director General.  In this role, she was responsible for the

implementation of the Global Strategy and Plan of Action to facilitate access to the therapeutic products and to foster innovation.

 

Adv. Adila Hassim BA LLB (UND), LLM (St Louis), PhD (Notre Dame)

Adv. Adila Hassim is an Advocate and the Director of Litigation and Legal Services – Section 27.  She has recently been appointed to the Technical Advisory

Group of the Global Commission on HIV and Law.
