APPRECIATE & VALUE OUR DIVERSITY – CHANGE & TRANSFORM NOW!


Our people and our society is so very rich in diversity which create so many challenges and opportunities for ALL.

There is a good Shakespearian quote “…. the evil in men doth lie is oft interred in his bones….” and it is so true when we look around us and engage in so many activities……. “the good and the bad”, “the beauty & the ugle” (personality of course), and those who keep on telling the previously disadvantaged how to do it their way (the old fashion oppressive way), how sick we are, as one exposes our guilt of our prejudices in how we say things, or how we address issues without due concern nor consideration of where our society came from.

I so much love this subject that we sometimes are trying to avoid. It is about ourselves and how we fit into the new democratic society away from the issues that confront us daily, and what we are accustomed to in our daily activities, “where we originate from”, “age”, “gender”, “race”, “cultural heritage”, “lifestyle”, “education”, “physical ability”, “first language” and so many other factors.

When can and will we say to ourselves that we sincerely value differences or diversity and really view it as the greatest and exciting asset of our “RAINBOW” “NATION”. Come on…….. we really need to swiftly move away from those prejudices, and our stereotypes and get beyond prejudices in order to appreciate differences in diversity.

Success can rightfully be achieved by utilizing those differences in order to accomplish our goals and purpose in life, LIVING A GREAT LIFE by RESPECT, VALUE DIVERSITY IN OTHERS, LOVE, SUPPORT, KINDNESS, GOOD ATTITUDE ETC., and finding that balance between valuing our diversity and challenging those assumptions that limit the opportunities, and the ultimate necessary change. We need to look and assess ourselves first as our historical past really show in how we are challenging and reacting to the good democratic and justifiable change in our attitudes to good morality and acceptable value systems. Effective and necessary change in our behaviour require ourselves to genuinely prepare and accept the necessary change.

Criticism, that we so rightfully do when we exchange views and ideas is good for the “MIND” but what about changing the “HEART” in the process and show that your attitudes have changed and that the emotion that you show is sincere. Our attitude in participating in skills, training & development place us in the forefront of necessary change in our environment and society. It remain therefore our challenge to be in the forefront of change, and our passion for change in “THE LOT OF MAN” are indicative in our compassion for “CHANGE”.

I AM WILLING TO CHANGE, DO YOU! I WANT TO BE A CHAMPION OF CHANGE…… DO YOU!
