Indeed Cindy and Sylvia! I strongly suspect the reluctance of learners to embrace Continuous Learning and to take responsibility for their own learning, is largely due to companies and corporates failure to appreciate and become Learning Organisations, and their failure to inform and empower their staff regarding the Rights of Learners.

This opens up the role and right to Learning Contracts, and how to successfully negotiate these rights with employers and training providers!

Maybe we should feature individual rights from our Constitution Bill of Rights - one per week.  We could start with the right to education and what it actually says.

I was also very inspired!! and hopefully we will also think about whether we take away from or uphold the rights of others.

Very cool video Cindy, hopefully more people can identify what their rights are and not continue to accept it being taken from them.
