HR Future Cape Town Breakfast Invitation

Every time we promote one of our Johannesburg breakfasts, I get a bunch of emails from Cape Town people asking when we’re going to do a breakfast in the Western Province.Well, all you Capetonians, ask no more. HR Future is hosting a breakfast in Cape Town!If you’re based in Cape Town and can make it, join me and our sponsors, BMGI, as we consider a key topic over a hearty breakfast. If you’re in Johannesburg and have a Cape Town branch or head office, why not send this to them so they can…See More

What are the accreditation and registration requirements for safety and occupational health training?

Posted on May 19, 2015 at 15:05 7 Comments

To all skills-universe members knowledgeable about accreditation processes - please assist.

Before the implementation of DHET, the Department of Labour registered/accredited training service providers.  As I recall this was for the safety type training, equipment, fire-fighting, and possibly related occupational health issues of chemical inhalation and so on.

Once again I have been asked for clarification.

Please will you assist me to respond to the following…

This hold up is very frustrating as the months going.

Hi Sylvia , I have been lecturing at FET from 2005 but in and out on contracts , Have a Fshion Diploma through Tshwane University of Technology . My work is outstanding and love teaching but I have been through so many interviews but no luck of finding a job. I went for an interview at my own college 2 weeks ago , 1 lady from the panel said she does not understand why with such high quality of work still want to come and teach . I love teaching with all my heart. I have achieved so much even for the college itself but still they did not take me , they employed someone else . I am tired of job hunting . I want to work as a learning material developer but I dont know where to start . I have even gone back to school to study education through Unisa . It feels like my qualification is useless if it can't provide a living for me , It feels like I have hit the rock bottom . I don't know what to do now all I know is that I want to do something with education , I have Fashion Design, Assessor and teaching experience . Please help me.

UBUNTU reminds everybody who was a Bantu education victim the 1976 unrest. Ubuntu is scary, quality education without this label Ubuntu should ultimately be implemented. The children of South Africa deserve to get educated and that's what their parents want according to Human Rights. Quality education will create jobs. A country without education will continue with conflicts and to avoid this it'll be very good to remove the cause.
