"I don't just "like" this ... I love it!!
Good on yer, Johan - as the Aussies say.
And may I please observe, Hannes - Johan is not "merely criticising" ...
He's "pointing a way forward"!! - Productively!!"
"Well done here Zerelde, with this measured, sober commentary. I applaud you for your eanest endeavours, in your story above - which you contrubuted on behalf of ALL concerned. Such a shame it came to nought ...
A shame, too, that - seemingly? - we…"
"Thanks for the swift reply, Hannes - appreciated. And I'm in no way judgmental of your notes "being negative".
On the contrary ... we have to look at the "as is" - which you have meticulously done - if we are to see what it…"
"Well said here, Hannes Nel.
You are ‘airing’ so much of what is NOT Working for us … we who are so passionate about uplifting our nation – and finding it increasingly difficult to do so, for the “red tape” we…"

This term, and its practise, can be extrapolated to include anything and…"
"Me? - I've given up!! Letters to "my" SETA, acknowledged 'received', but never answered. Concerns I've expressed, never addressed. You ask, "Are you happy ... ?" Good Grief!! - What's left to say? -…"

We must connect. I am interested in what you have done with Youths. We certainly need to focus on this issue of "employability" and soon! My approach is the English Literacy levels - as it is the lingua franca of the worls of work nowadays.
I believe you are right, but at the same time we need to be strategic in such approach. I have been patient enough this year, mainly because I realise that I have made a considerable investment in this programme and I do not need to make enemies in the SETA, and also because it is not our main focus to fight administrative battles! However, there is always a tipping point..... I am waiting for promised reaction by the ETQA manager in regards to the assessor registration issue. I will also wait for Friday to receive the promised programme evaluation results. Regardless of the results,I will set up an appointment with the Chairperson, document the process thus far, and make some suggestions to improve communication, tracking systems and turn-around time. Hopefully I will receive some feedback on such and then I could take it a level higher should it be necessary. I think that the Minister has appointed the new boards as a representation of himself, and hopefully we can test the efficiency thereof! But thanks for the encouragement of all the postings, I will keep in touch.
