Hi Andrew....?.......Most odd! My experience is that even the Career Guidance division at SAQA would tell you whether the unit std. is de-registered. It would be interesting to see what the outcome…Continue

I need to share that when all the changes became a reality, due to
Mr Blades decision that we, the private trainer, were, in fact not able to contribute to the country's skills crisis, I was angry! However, with respect, those who laugh last, laugh the best.
That's my opinion anyway, no offense.

I think I mentioned in my last post, we don't work in a dull industry. However, I personally think that the abovementioned is most concerning, as I am sure the stakeholders of SSETA are going to very uneasy.
Short of wanting to throw the cat among the pigeons......would you wish to pay over your levy to any SETA at the moment. I agree changes to some SETA's most necessary but am HORRIFIED!!! by the latest. Welcome your opinion out there..regards Sharon Machard

What on earth is happening in this industry....first Seta landscape approved ready to go 1st April 2011...now illegal...Ivor of Services Seta suspended. Every day the news becomes more shattering to this industry.
Who do we report to regarding changes ? New Setas allocated or old Setas?
It is vital, we as facilitators know what to do?
Any advise out there or comments.
Kind regards, Sharon Machard
Hi Sharon,
Go the the Forum section and page down until you see a discussion added by Alan - Labour Law Amendment Bills released. The Bills are added as documents that you can access. I would be interested in your thoughts once you've been through them - especially the Employment Services one.
Hi Sharon,
Have you seen the latest proposals on labour brokers on our site?
