OK - WHAT NOW? SSETA UNDER ADMINISTRATION!

I think I mentioned in my last post,  we don't work in a dull industry. However,  I personally think that the abovementioned is most concerning,  as I am sure the stakeholders of SSETA are going to very uneasy.Short of wanting to throw the cat among the pigeons......would you wish to pay over your levy to any SETA at the moment.  I agree changes to some SETA's most necessary but am HORRIFIED!!! by the latest. Further to my last blog-I called a certain ascertain that I would have to put in a W.S.P/ATR to their specific S.E.T.A,  due to the change in landscape ......  after a half an hour ..... being sent to pillar and post...got told they have NO IDEA of this change.  It was 3.30pm and I was so frustrated that I said  "Don't worry, Ill do my own thing".OH MAN WHAT A WONDERFUL DAY!!!!See More

What on earth is happening in this industry....first Seta landscape approved ready to go 1st April 2011...now illegal...Ivor of Services Seta suspended.  Every day the news becomes more shattering to this industry. Who do we report to regarding changes ? New Setas allocated or old Setas? It is vital, we as facilitators know what to do? Any advise out there or comments.  Kind regards,  Sharon Machard See More

"Hi Tshepo......It clearly states in Act 55 1998 .. Employment Equity Act, that these tests are "basicall" not allowed. So the individual has the right to refuse this test. Other than that I cannot help you.....Kind regards Sharon Machard"

BLADES - BAD DECISION!!!!!

I need to share that when all the changes became a reality,  due to

Mr Blades decision that we, the private trainer,  were,  in fact not able to contribute to the country's skills crisis,  I was angry!  However, with respect,  those who laugh last,  laugh the best.

That's my opinion anyway,  no offense.
