Hello Mr Mkhize (or is it Ms - I would appreciate it if you could add some kind of title to your name; it just makes it easier for me to show respect towards you), AET is in the GET level, but really, I don't think you wish to get technical about all this. Mentornet is accredited for the GET Certificate in Community Development, which actually is AET, and nobody seems to pay much attention to the qualification. Perhaps you should pose your question on the open forum - there are many people out there who are much better informed about AET and more directly involved in the field than I. Kind regards, Hannes Nel

Hello Mr Mkhize, Adult education and training has always been a rather neglected field when it comes to recognition. There are some "qualifications" registered at this level (I assume by NLRD you meand registered on the NLRD). Just make sure that you offer good quality education and training, then your clients will probably not care if you are accredited or not. Even though there are lots of providers who offer adult education and training the need is even bigger, so good luck with your work. Regards, Dr Hannes Nel
