The 2013 Research Ethics Integrity and Quality Assurance Conference brings together higher education researchers, policy makers, research funders, journal editors, research chairs and ethics administrators to provide insight to some the most challenging aspects of research management and conduct.
Various aspects of academic scandals, including scientific misconduct such as fraud, fabrication of data, plagiarism and insufficient regulation/administration of research have become a cause of concern over the years.
Delegates will learn and deliberate progress on pragmatic approaches to ethics and integrity, in most research areas with the quest of upholding the highest standards required in this sector.
Presenters will highlight new challenges, emerging topics and help shape national and international responses. The Conference will provide a forum for exchange of ideas and expertise that can be adapted within research centres.
