Lemmy Mnguni replied to Hannes Nel's discussion Are Unit Standards really such a bad idea?
"Hi Jo, as far as I'm concern, unit standards are very good, but other organisations made them look so bad by not giving the employees time to do researches in order to complete the Portfolio Of Evidence. I am 1 such victim."

Hi Lemmy

First you need to find out if your company is paying the Skills Development Levy and are you up to date with your payment, then you need to know which SETA you are paying your levies to, contact them and ask them any questions you may have, think of a tool you are going to use to conduct training needs analysis. Do you have a performance management system in place? If you do then your first task is much easier
