Accreditation

Is there anything wrong in using an accredited training provider from a different SETA to come and give training to your company. Lets say construction SETA has a skills programme on a front end loader and MQA has a skills programme on a front end loader for surface excavation.Now a mining company calls the provider from CETA instead of MQA to train its employees on a front end loader so that they can be able to work on a surface quarry in the mine site.

"No - for the simple reason that the diagnostic is to establish the extent of current knowledge and would normally be used to confirm entry level requirements etc., whereas the summative assessment is to establish knowledge gained.   "
